Preconference

Sunday, June 10th
3:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Current Board Members only meeting at UA. Dinner with UA staff only after the meeting - 7:30pm at Pinnacle Peaks Steakhouse. (This is not part of the conference registration.)
9:00 P.M. – 1:00 A.M. Hospitality room opens for drinks, games, TV… Room 223-224
Monday, June 11th
10:00 A.M. – 4:45 P.M. Vendor Product Advisory Committee meeting. (Committee members ONLY) At UA Rincon meeting room. Eight companies to present. Lunch in the UA.
6:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. Dinner with Vendor Product Advisory Committee meeting members and vendors presenting to advisory committee (ONLY).
11:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M. Member/Vendor Registration - Located at the Tucson University Marriott Hotel, host hotel just off the lobby. Pick up your name badge, conference bag, conference schedule and pick up the UA sponsor shirt.
9:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M. Hospitality room opens for snacks, drinks, games, TV…Stop by so we can get your name badge for Tuesday Tombstone and Kartchner Caverns tour. Room 223-224

2018 Conference

Tuesday, June 12th
6:30 A.M. – 7:45 A.M. Breakfast is on your own at the host hotel, just off the lobby or there are several resteraunts within  a block of the hotel.
7:45 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Member/Vendor Tombstone and Kartchner Caverns. Meet in the Host Hotel lobby (no later than 7:30 am). Bus leaves the hotel at 7:45am. Lunch will be on your own in Tombstone.
10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. Member/Vendor Registration - Located at Tucson University Marriott host hotel just off the lobby. Pick up your name badge, conference bag and conference schedule.  Load the schedule ap on your phone
3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. Vendor booth setup in south Ballroom of the UA Student Union.
5:15 P.M. – 5:45 P.M. New Member Orientation at the University Marriott Host Hotel hospitality room. Room 223-224
6:00 P.M. Buses leave hotel at 6:00 pm for reception and dinner – UA Sands Club

6:30 P.M. – 9:30 P.M. Member/Vendor Welcome Reception and then Dinner - Located at UA Sands Club. Ron Athey Award presented after dinner. Winner of the Cres Cor announced at dinner.
9:30 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. Buses back to hotel.
10:15 P.M. – 1:00 A.M. Hospitality room opens for drinks, games, TV…  Room 223-224
Wednesday, June 13th Meetings to be held at the UA Student Union. UA staff will be there to help guide us.
Hot Breakfast will also be available at the Student Union - Rincon meeting room.
A lite lunch available to vendors and school members in the tradeshow lounge in the Rincon meeting room, but we encourage all schools to sample vendor’s foods during the tradeshow.
7:45A.M. – 10:00 A.M. Trade Show Vendors setup booths South Ballroom of the UA Student Union. Entrance for vendors to be determined
8:00 A.M. – 9:00 A.M. Registration (at hotel for members & at trade show for Vendors)
7:45 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. Vans circling between Tucson University Marriottt host hotel and Student Union for vendors and university members
8:00 A.M. – 8:45 A.M. Breakfast and beverages at the Student Union Rincon meeting room.
8:45 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. UA Kiva Room - Welcome to UA – Mike Feder, Joe Moller and Ben Chulick - Fan Experience and how it relates to us
9:30 A.M – 10:30 A.M. General Session – UA Kiva Room
10:30 A.M. – 10:45 A.M. Group Picture – Location – Fountain
All University and Vendor members meet for picture.
10:45 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. Trade Show – UA Student Union South Ballroom - Lunch at the trade show booths – visit every booth to find the vendors that have your matching scavenger hunt number, they will have cash/gift prizes to hand out during the trade show (Value $20).
1:50 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Turn in sponsor business card verification sheet, Tradeshow drawing at NACC booth.
2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Vendor booths break down.
2:00 P.M – 2:05 P.M. Must be present to win (2) Fire 7 tablets with Alexa - prize drawing in meeting room.
2:10 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Round Table Education Session – 3 - 35 minute sessions.  In Tucson, Catalina and Rincon Rooms
  1. Meet the New NACC Executive Director – Brian Kulpa
  2. Sub-Contractors – Chris & guest speaker
  3. Planning for a disaster – Shawn Corr
4:00 P.M. – 4:15 P.M. Vans back to hotel – drop off stuff and meet in lobby for dinner transportation
5:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. Bus & Vans Transportation to Old Tucson Studios.
7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Reception and Dinner. Drinks, dinner and live entertainment at Old Tucson Studios.
9:00 P.M. Bus & Vans back to host Hotel.
10:00 P.M.- 1:00 A.M. Hospitality Room open for drinks, games, TV… Room 223-224

Educational Sessions Topic – Pima County Health Dept Rep - What are new hot spots for health department in concession operations.

 

Educational Sessions Topic – Brett Brestel and Viky Arvizu from UA Bob Greca EMU - What we are doing to recruite NPO's and keep them.

10:00 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. Education Session Topic – Topic Small, Medium and Large Facility discussions. Three separate groups will discuss topics that they feel pertain to their facility size – 3 Speakers – One for each size of facility.
10:30 A.M. – 11:25 A.M. Education Session Topic – Member Open ROUND tables Forum. Moderators will be the NACC Board. If you have a topic or question that you want discussed with other Concession managers this is the time to bring them up!
We will have a TOPIC BOX that you can drop topics in throughout Tuesday and Wednesday.
11:25 A.M. – 12:25 P.M. Lunch at the UA McKale Arena concession stands.
Board meeting during lunch, current and newly voted board members.
12:25 P.M. – 1:10 P.M. Arena Tour - see the remodeled arena concession stands
1:10 P.M. – 1:25 P.M. Walk back to Stadium - Beverages in room.
1:25 P.M. – 2:05 P.M. Educational Session Special Stadium and Arena Events. How to plan for out of the ordinary type events – Aaron Black from BYU and Paul Schertz from PSU.
2:10 P.M. – 2:55 P.M. Education Session Catering UA departments lead by Catering Manager Judith Stoudt, Executive Chef and Training Table Manager Zack Baker and Nutritionist Christine Carlson
3:00 P.M. – 3:40 P.M. Education Session PCI Compliance – Matt Drummond from Blackboard & University Rep.
3:45 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. 2019 Penn State University Conference Preview
4:00 P.M. – 4:20 P.M. Transportation to hotel
5:30 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. Bus Transportation to Pima Air and Space Museum for a bus tour.
6:00 P.M. – 9:30 P.M. Dinner catered by Pima Air and Space Museum
9:30 P.M. – 10:00P.M. Bus back to Host Hotel
